Here you will see few passages from the holy writ.

The truth shall make you free.

Let your light shine before men, in order that they may see your good works and give glory to your father in heaven.

Ask and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, it shall be opened.

Therefore all that you wish men to do to you, even so do you also to them; for this is the law and the prophets.

Believe in the Lord Jesus and thou shalt be saved, and thy household.

Whatever you ask the father in my name he may give you.

I am the vine and you are the branches. He who abides in me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for without me you can do nothing.
(St. John.15:5)

I say to you, unless the grain of wheat falls in to the ground and dies it remains alone. But if it dies, it brings forth much fruit. He who loves his life loses it; and he who hates his life in this world, keeps it un to life everlasting.

I am the resurrection and the life:he who believes in me, even if he die, shall live; and whoever lives and believes in me, shall never die.
(St. John. 11:24-26)

I came that they may have life, and have it more abundantly.

I am the light of the world. He who follows me does not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.

Amen I say to you, he who hears my word, and believes him who sent me, has life everlasting, and does not come to judgement, but has passed from death to life.
(St. John.5:24)

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

Render therefore,to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are GOd's.

The stone which the builders rejected, has become the corner stone?

Every one who exalts himself shall be humbled, and he who humbles himself shall be exalted.

He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much.

Take heed and guard yourself from all convetouses, for a man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.
(St.Luke 12:15)

If anyone wishes to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For he who would save his life will lose it; but he who loses his life for my sake and for the gospel's sake will save it.

What does it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, but suffer the loss of his own soul?

Do not seek what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; and do not exalt yourselves (for after all these things the nations of the world seek) but your Father knows that you need these things. But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be given you besides.

Have faith in God, Amen I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, Arise and hurl thyself in to the sea, and does not waver in his heart, but believes that whatever he says will be done, it shall be done for him. Therefore I say to you, all things whatever you asks for in prayer, believe that you shall receive and they shall come to you.

For nothing shall be impossible with God.

Not by bread alone shall men live, but by every word of God.

Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you. Bless those who curse you, pray for those who calumniate you. And to him who strikes thee on the one cheek, offer the other also; and from him who takes away thy cloak, do not withold the tunic either.

Do not judge, and you shall not be judged; do not condemn, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you shall be forgiven. give, and it shall be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, shall they pour in to your lap. For with what measure you measure, it shall be measured to you.

The good man from the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which is good; and the evil man from the evil treasure brings forth that which is evil. For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

Thou didst hide these from the wise and prudent, and didst reveal them to little ones.

No one, having put his hand to the plough and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
(St. Luke.9:62)

If thou art offering thy gift at the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother has anything against thee, leave thy gift before the altar and go first to be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

If you love those that love you, what reward shall you have? Do not even the publicans do that? And if you salute your brotheren only, what are you doing more than others? Do not even the gentiles do that.

When thou givest alms, do not let thy left hand know what thy right hand is doing.

If you do not forgive men, neither will your father forgive you your offences.

Do not be anxious about tomorrow; for tomorrow will have anxities of its own. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Do not give to dogs what is holy, neither cast your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under their feet and turn and tear you.

Whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servanr; and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be your slave.

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with thy whole mind, and with thy whole strength. This is the first comandment. And the second is like it. Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Everyone who exalts himself shall be humbled, and he who humbles himself shall be exalted.

Things that are impossible with men are possible with God.

He who eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, abides in me and I in him.

I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me.

If you have faith like a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Remove from here; and it will remove.

If two of you shall agree on earth about anything at all for which they ask, it shall be done for them by my father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together for my sake, there am I in the midst of them.

Amen I say to you, as long as you did it for one of these, the least of my brotheren, you did it for me.

It is not the healthy who need a physician, but they who are sick. For I have not come to call the just, but sinners.

The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.

Whoever gives to one of these little ones but a cup of cold water to drink because he is a desciple, amen I say to you, he shall not lose his reward.

Come to me all of you who labour and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for your soules. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.

I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.

I tell you, that of every idle word men speak they shall give account on the day of judgement.

What goes in to the mouth does not defile a man but it is what comes out of the mouth that defiles a man.
(St. Mathew.15:11)

If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him who believes.

You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its strength, what shall it be salted with? It is no longer of any use but to be thrown out and trodden underfoot by men.

It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.

All things are possible with God.
